Blue blood paletter1/4/2024 ![]() We then have a gold metallic shade, a not very pigmented cool-toned dark blue shade, and then a grey matte shade which is slightly more pigmented, but still not great. On the second row we have a pale orange matte (again,?), a strangely textured blue shade that isn’t quite matte but has like a slight sheen to it (there’s probably a word for it I just don’t know what it is), and a forest green metallic. Then we have a glittery rose gold shimmer, a brown metallic with gold glitter running through it, and a gorgeous teal blue metallic shimmer. (The shades haven’t been given names due to the layout of the palette, so I’ll just have to give descriptions instead.) So on row one we have a pale yellow matte, which seemed very pasty and strange, a gorgeous seafoam blue shimmer with glitter in it and yellow-toned orange matte. Anyway enough about the packaging, let’s get onto the swatches! Looking at the palette originally I had some questions about the cohesiveness of the palette, but I was excited to give the shimmers a go. ![]() As far as the theme of the packaging I think the holographic design is cute and I like the font, however generally I’m not that bothered about mermaids so I could take or leave the mermaid theme to be honest. So firstly I’ll start off, as always, by talking about the packaging. ![]() Keep reading to find out what I thought of it and whether I would’ve paid for it (pre-warning, this is probably the most savage review I have ever done let’s just say, tea will be spilt)! ![]() Initially seeing this I was very excited, because since the Jeffree Star Blue Blood palette came out I’ve been thirsty for blues I got this for free in a mystery bag so I went in with an open mind. Hey everyone! I’m coming at you today with a review of the Mermaid’s heart palette, which I mentioned in my big revolution haul a few weeks back. ![]()
